How much of your team's work this week has been on autopilot?

Chugging through the work. Going through the motions.

It's not necessarily a bad thing. We build the machine, then we run it.

But when "the way we've always done things" becomes the invisible default, something valuable takes a back seat.

Curiosity.

It's still there. Every single member of the team has it. Like a flashlight tucked away in a pocket, just waiting to be pulled out and switched on. But for some reason, it's not. Could it be fear? The pressure to be efficient? Perhaps complacency?

And so the same old problems persist. Insights become rare. Stakeholders start asking questions.

I spent last year helping managers switch on curiosity in their teams, and once it was on, identify productive places to aim it.

This year I'm still running my Commercial Curiosity programme for teams. But I'm also releasing something new: Commercial Curiosity Labs. Hands-on experiences where curiosity isn't just contemplated, it’s felt. (And I may or may not wear a white lab coat!)

If your team is stuck in the gravity of "the way we've always done things," or you're looking for fresh insights and paths but not sure where to start - let's chat.

Maybe it's time for a Commercial Curiosity Lab?
