While having my name tattooed on my head wasn’t the intention, choosing who you want to show up as, was.
The point: presence isn’t an accident. It’s a choice.
Who you choose to be can unlock the parts of you that step up when it gets tough at the table.
Research backs this: even adopting a persona - like “Batman” - can shift performance. (And no, you don’t need a cape or undies on the outside.)
The idea is simple: by stepping into a version of yourself in your mind, you can access strengths that might otherwise stay hidden.
Even asking, “How would [respected colleague] turn up for this?” can make the difference.
So… you’re approaching a tough conversation today.
What version of you are you choosing to show up as?
