Say no for a bigger yes

Addicted to “yes”? Struggling to set boundaries and say “no”?

Where’s your conviction at?

Conviction is the inner drive that guides us to prioritise what matters most. It helps us deliver a gracious “no” when the “yes” will crowd out what truly matters.

Stephen Covey’s idea of having a bigger “yes” is gold. His quote below deserves a second - and maybe even a third - read:

“You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage—pleasantly, smilingly, nonapologetically, to say 'no' to other things. And the way you do that is by having a bigger 'yes' burning inside. The enemy of the 'best' is often the 'good.’” - Stephen Covey

There’s some wisdom there, right?

Could this be a focus for your next team day? If your team could do with some strategies for saying “no” for the bigger “yes” in 2025, drop me a line. Or, if you’d rather keep scrolling, we’ll take that as a “no” 😉
