Trust is the middle child of commercial relationships.

🤦 We all know they’re important - no one would say otherwise - but they’re easy to overlook when the rest of the family plays up.


❓Why does this matter? Trust is essential for a thriving commercial relationship, but is easy to take for granted.


👋 Trust doesn’t put its hand up and wave at you if you’re ignoring it.


Unfortunately, trust is most obvious when it’s lost. And at that stage, we’re left with a bad case of the “if onlys” and a long road to recovery, if that road hasn’t been permanently blocked.


Building trust is a choice. And it’s a choice that needs to be made consistently. I mean, when was the last time we even talked about building trust in a meeting?
