😬 71% of people say their biggest regret after the holidays is that they did not take the time to relax and enjoy the season.

😳 63% claim the holiday season is more stressful than tax season! (American Heart Association)

The stats are against us, people!

The holiday season can be a whirlwind. Yes, it brings precious moments of joy and fun, but it can also feel wrapped in expectations, tied up with a bow of stress. Here's how to get ready for a different break.

Last year, I shared a video about a simple yet powerful idea: Forecast how you want to feel. It's related to the psychological concept of affective forecasting.

Just like checking the weather forecast helps you prepare for what's ahead, forecasting your desired emotional state - calm, clarity, energy - can prime your brain to make better decisions over the next few weeks. Decisions that bring you closer to that feeling when you return to work in 2026.

I'm resharing this video because it's a message worth repeating, and may be even more timely for some this year.

2025 has been a mixed bag for many, and I hope the next few weeks bring many moments of joy, connection and purpose.

⭐️ From my family to yours, have a brilliant Christmas.
