▶ What signals are we broadcasting in the room?
▶ Why does this matter?
Before we say a word, our presence has told a story. It whispers a message before we even speak, a message that either supports or erodes our intended impact.
When we bring a calm confidence to our stakeholder conversations, we have a presence that helps us to both bring our best AND attract the best from our stakeholders.
I’ve recently been working with the new Enterprise Connection Division at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade as they seek to build even stronger connections with their stakeholders.
Rather than jumping to conversational tools, our first step was to work on influencing ourselves. How can we bring a calm confidence that inspires trust?
I love walking away from a workshop with an expanded understanding of the area. A big thanks to the MFAT team for broadening my perspective on the power of calm confidence.
